2014 Hotel Plus - The Mockup Hotel Room Show Launched in Shanghai
SHANGHAI, Feb. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hotel and Tourism industries in China continue to grow at an impressive rate, generating an increased turnover for those placed to provide quality service to the expanding fields of hotel and hospitality. To provide an ideal gateway to China's burgeoning hotel engineering market, the third edition of Hotel Plus -the Mockup Hotel Room Show will be launched in Hall W3 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from March 31st to April 3rd 2014, and will be co-organised by the China Tourist Hotels Association and Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co., Ltd.
As one of the most popular highlights of the China (Shanghai) International Building & Interior Design Festival 2014 (www.design-festival.net), the total exhibition area of Hotel Plus 2014 will be over 1,000 sqm and serve as the annual assembly of the leading domestic and international hotel management groups, commercial property developers, hotel engineering & equipment suppliers, interior decorative material manufacturers, and hotel designers and architects. The Hotel Plus show is devoted to demonstrating the most cutting-edge decorative art and material technologies in hotel space design by setting up five demonstration suites in hotel guest rooms on-site.
In the preshow preparation meeting in January for Hotel Plus, Mr. Xu Jingsheng, the general secretary of the China Tourist Hotel Association, reported on a successful experience and positive feedback from the participants of the last event. He also announced that the Jinling Hotels & Resorts Corporation, BTG-Jianguo Hotels & Resort Group, the New Century Hotels & Resort Group, and the Intercontinental Hotels Group will be involved with Hotel Plus 2014. The senior delegates from the above-mentioned hotel groups attended this preparation meeting. They expressed strong confidence in their capacity to hold a successful display of the fabulous and conceptual hotel prototypes this year.
In addition, a host of other events will be held alongside the Hotel Plus Show such as Expo Deco which is composed of the Asia's No. hospitality event - HDD Expo (www.hddshow.com) and the Shanghai International Interior Design Festival (www.design-festival.net), which will integrate design, fashion, green technology, future concepts and will provide visitors with an unparalleled opportunity for insight and communication at the forefront of global hotel design.
