Aeroflot Once Again Tops Global Punctuality Rating
MOSCOW, December 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Aeroflot was recognized as the world's most punctual airline once again in November 2014, according to FlightStats, a US-based flight statistics agency. According to the November 2014 survey, 93.22% of Aeroflot flights arrived on time, putting Aeroflot ahead of renowned global peers like SAS, KLM, Lufthansa, British Airways and Emirates.
"The first key to success for any company in the transportation sector is to provide high quality transport services. This is especially true for airlines because we face more stringent requirements, and the air transport sector is extremely competitive," said Aeroflot CEO Vitaly Saveliev.
FlightStats is a global leader in the analysis of flight data, covering more than 86% of flights globally in real time. This enables the company to track even slight delays of 15 minutes.
