PORTLAND, Oregon, April 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Agile Alliance announces the program for AGILE2014, the largest international gathering of Agilists held. The conference is widely considered the premiere event for the advancement of Agile software development.
"This year we received nearly 1,100 submissions for just over 200 speaking slots," said Mitch Lacey, AGILE2014 conference chair. "Narrowing down the selection was a very difficult task, as there were so many great proposals. In the end, we've chosen the sessions we believe will spark important conversations, generate transformative ideas and advance the leading edge of Agile thought."
Last year the conference drew nearly 1,800 Agilists from 38 countries to learn from and confer with recognized experts, authors and innovators.
AGILE2014, scheduled for July 28–August 1 in Orlando, Florida, is expected to draw more than 1800 attendees. Conference keynote speakers will be Aneesh Chopra, Diana Larsen and Bjarte Bogsnes.
Agile Alliance organizes the annual North American Agile Conference, the industry's leading event that attracts worldwide practitioners, academia, business, and vendor-partner community members.
