From 17 and 20 December 2013, « Career »*, Altran's web TV show dedicated to recruitment and engineering career opportunities, will be stationed at the Dübendorf military base in Switzerland to cover the Solar Impulse 72-hour non-stop virtual flight. A key stage in the preparations for the 2015 round-the-world tour, the virtual flight will be piloted by Bertrand Piccard and broadcast live over the three-day period, at 6.00 pm on the web (Facebook Altran and Altran.tv).

The challenge for the HB-SIB solar plane during the round-world tour is for one pilot to fly five days straight on solar energy alone. It is, therefore, essential to analyse the possible flight scenarios, as well as fatigue management, autohypnosis and cockpit ergonomics, etc.
Each web TV show will take you behind the scenes of the virtual flight.
