Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, the event organised by Fira de Barcelona dedicated to bridal fashion, a European benchmark and one of the biggest international shows in its sector, will feature fashion shows by 25 firms between 25 and 30 April plus 300 fashion brands - 65% of them international - for bridal fashions, grooms' attire, evening wear and accessories at the trade fair. All of them will be presenting their new 2018 Spring/Summer collections to an audience of trade professionals and the press. Additionally, this year there will be catwalk shows by major international designers such as Ángel Sánchez and Galia Lahav, as well as two of the leading North American firms, Demetrios and Morilee Madeline Gardner, among many other top brands.

Venezuelan by birth and based in New York, Ángel Sánchez (Trujillo, Venezuela, 1960) is one of the world's most outstanding designers of bridal fashion and party wear. A member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), he is also a favourite of celebrities such as Beyoncé, Meryl Streep, Eva Longoria, Salma Hayek, Giselle Bündchen and Elizabeth Hurley. Sánchez will be the star of Barcelona Bridal Night, the gala evening of the show where his bridal and ceremony creations will be paraded on the catwalk for the first time ever in Europe.
Born in Russia and resident in Tel Aviv (Israel), Galia Lahav, creator of one of the most glamorous brands in the fashion universe, will be one of the stars of the show, presenting her designs on the catwalk for the second year running Meanwhile, Demetrios and Morilee Madeline Gardner, two of North America's leading firms in the bridal market, will also be introducing their latest collections.
Additionally, a total of 25 major firms will be showing on the catwalk at the show: Rosa Clará will be kicking the show off, followed until 28 April by the St. Patrick Studio of the Pronovias Fashion Group, making their world debut at BBFW; Jesús Peiró; Cristina Tamborero; Sophie et Voilà Collection; YolanCris; Isabel Sanchís; Inmaculada García; Ángel Sánchez; Marylise & Rembo Styling; Isabel Zapardiez; Ana Torres; Raimón Bundó; Jordi Dalmau and Matilde Cano; Marco & María; Patricia Avendaño; Galía Lahav; Cymbeline; Ramón Sanjurjo; Morilee Madeline Gardner; Carla Ruiz; Sonia Peña and Demetrios.
