NEUSS, Germany, April 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
ClinicAll Showcases at the "8th Arab-German Health Forum"
The Arab world is one of the top growth markets in the health sector. Not only does the enormous population growth offer great opportunities with over 360 million people, but also the continued rise in demand for health services due to the increasing number of elderly people and the treatment of lifestyle diseases. In the private and the public sector, investment to expand and modernize health care increases constantly. For example, in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries' investments are expected to increase by 12% p.a. until 2018.
A bridge to the Arabian market
In order to promote the German-Arab cooperation, "Ghorfa - Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry" organized the "8th Arab-German Health Forum" in Berlin on February 26 and 27, 2015 under the patronage of the governing mayor, Michael Müller. The high-profile forum brought experts from business, politics and science together. Over 300 prestigious German and Arab participants discussed recent developments in hospitals, pharmaceutics, medical technology, training, and medical tourism. For the eighth time in succession, the event proved to be a leading information and networking platform to deepen sustainable Arab-German business relations. Delegations from Egypt, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Qatar, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates were represented. ClinicAll also presented itself at the forum, establishing interesting contacts. The innovative product portfolio by ClinicAll proved very attractive for the Arab health sector. Especially because Arab State governments are pursuing ambitious modernization plans, with comfort, service and sustainability playing an important role: requirements that the sophisticated ClinicAll portfolio based on Windows 8 covers. The possibility of implementing telemedicine applications particularly generated high interest.
