ATC Global Attracts European Support for Beijing Event in September 2014
BEIJING, June 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ATC Global is receiving strong European support as the event gets set to take place in China for the first time. This world class Conference and Exhibition which has previously attracted in excess of 5,500 attendees from 116 countries will continue to unite the international ATM community when it takes place 17th - 19th September at the China National Convention Centre (CNCC), Beijing.
The move to Beijing positions the event in a region that is experiencing exceptional growth and although the event is moving from Europe after 23 years, it is retaining its strong European following while at the same time becoming more accessible to ANSP's and suppliers from Asia. As the only large scale ATC exhibition and conference to have the full backing of the ATMB/ CAAC, ATC Global is uniquely placed to provide links between China and the rest of the worlds ATM community and will provide a bridge between Europe and Asia.
European organisations such as Eurocontrol and SESAR have confirmed their participation along with leading European suppliers including Thales, Northrup Grumman Park Air Systems, Terma, Rhode & Schwartz, Selex ES, LPS SR, Airtel ATN, Entry Point North, Barco and Frequentis.
Paula Milburn, Development Director for Aviation at UBM Live, comments, "ATC Global aims to unite the international ATM community and provide a platform to drive forward a global agenda. Participation from all parts of the world is essential in achieving this goal and it is wonderful to see so many past supporters of the event in Europe following it to Beijing with such enthusiasm."
Mr Frank Brenner, Director General, Eurocontrol, explains, "China is the fastest growing aviation market in the world and as we strive to improve the performance of the air traffic management network, we need to look beyond Europe in order to develop connections with the global network. We therefore look forward to ATC Global and the opportunities that it can offer."
Charles Houseago, Managing Director, Northrop Grumman Park Air, adds, "Considering the potential offered by the growing Asian market, relocating ATC Global to Beijing makes sense and is a positive step towards opening up business opportunities for international suppliers."
