Audio Network Wins Queen's Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2012
LONDON, April 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Global media music group Audio Network has been honoured today with a Queen's Award for Enterprise in the category of International Trade for 2012, firmly establishing the company's position as a major global player.
This is Audio Network's second royal accolade, having previously won the Queen's Award for Enterprise in the category of Innovation in 2008.
With a catalogue of over 50,000 tracks, Audio Network offers a complete music solution at http://www.audionetwork.com by cutting through the traditionally complex and costly processes of licensing music. All its music tracks are pre-cleared for multiple formats, for the world, forever.
This approach allows producers to make content for international distribution, emerging platforms and new media without the need to go through the complicated and expensive process of clearing individual tracks or re-versioning productions.
Managing Director, Juliette Squair said, "This is the greatest tribute we could possibly receive in recognition of our expansion into the global marketplace. We work very closely with our international offices and sub publishers to ensure we continue to deliver great music and customer service. We have always known that the Audio Network ethos and music was special - now it has the official endorsement it deserves. We couldn't be more delighted!"
Audio Network has recently opened an office in Munich in addition to those in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and Holland and has a network of sub-publishers that cover France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Poland, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, the Middle East, Japan and South Africa.
The Queen's Award for Enterprise is the highest official UK award for British business. The awards are made on the advice of the Prime Minister and his Advisory Committee, which comprises leading individuals from industry, commerce, trade unions and Government. HRH Queen Elizabeth II then confers them on her birthday, April 21.
To qualify in the International Trade category, Audio Network had to demonstrate outstanding achievement in international trade over three years and substantial growth in overseas earnings and commercial success.
