AuRico Gold Receives C$20 Million Upfront Payment and Ongoing Royalty with Crocodile Gold

AuRico Gold Inc. (TSX: AUQ) (NYSE: AUQ), ("AuRico" or the "Company") announces that it has completed the agreement with Crocodile Gold that was previously announced on December 22, 2014. Under the terms of the agreement, AuRico has received a C$20 million cash payment from Crocodile Gold and has been granted a net smelter return ("NSR") royalty of 2% from Fosterville Gold Mine and 1% from Stawell Gold Mine.
