Ballast Nedam N.V. ("Ballast Nedam") this morning intended to launch its contemplated rights issue (the "Rights Issue"), which was approved in the general meeting of shareholders of Ballast Nedam held on 30 October 2015. A delay occurred in the final stages of the preparations for the announcement of the terms of the Rights Issue as a result of which Ballast Nedam postponed its announcement. As a result of this postponement, Euronext suspended trading of Ballast Nedam's depositary receipts (ISIN Code: NL0000336543; Symbol: BALNE) on the regulated market operated by Euronext Amsterdam N.V. It is expected that Euronext will lift the suspension of trading in Ballast Nedam's depositary receipts following publication of this press release.
Ballast Nedam expects to announce the terms of the Rights Issue in the short term.
