Bright Capital Takes Position Among Top Five Global Cleantech Investors

Bright Capital has again been named one of the world's top cleantech investors by Cleantech Group, a leading global research and advisory firm focused on energy and environmental innovation.
Cleantech Group makes annual awards to the Global Cleantech 100 companies and to the corporate and financial investors whose farsighted investments support the advances of the Global Cleantech 100. This year Bright Capital placed among the five top financial investors by percentage of 2013 Global Cleantech 100 companies in their cleantech venture portfolios. There are 414 disclosed investors in the Global Cleantech 100, of which 56 percent were financial investors, 20 percent were corporations or corporate venture units, three percent were public sector entities, three percent were investment banks, and the remaining 16 percent were a mixture of family offices, private individuals, and asset managers.
