Exclusive agreement strengthens National event for Health and Safety industry
Safety & Health Expo is delighted to announce that the British Safety Council will be exclusively supporting the event as the only National Health and Safety show in 2015, choosing it as the location to host its prestigious British Safety Council Global Risk Management Theatre. The British Safety Council will join leading industry bodies including: IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health), RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents), BSIF (British Safety Industry Federation), BOHS (British Occupational Hygiene Society), SGUK (Safety Groups UK), AIF (Access Industries Forum) as a key supporter of the show.
Neal Stone, acting Chief Executive of British Safety Council, said:
"We have chosen to support Safety & Health Expo as we believe it is important for the UK to have one national event which brings together all elements of the profession and Health and Safety organisations in one place. This is a must attend event in order to keep up to speed with industry developments and supports our vision that no one should be injured or made ill at work. I look forward to seeing everyone at the show."
For the first year Safety & Health Expo will be the only National event where the British Safety Council will be hosting live content in the British Safety Council Global Risk Management Theatre. Featuring international industry leaders who will speak on the specific challenges for UK managers who are responsible for global health and safety as well as looking at best practice overseas, this is an exclusive opportunity to interact with senior peers in the industry.
Safety & Health Expo has grown by a massive 30%, the first period of growth for many years. Over 330 companies will be exhibiting the latest and best in occupational Health and Safety products and service. Over 20% of exhibitors will be international, highlighting the important role that the show plays globally. The exhibition will be co-locating with the IOSH 2015 Conference, the RoSPA Awards and the Health Symposium which forms part of UK Health and Safety Week.
Heather Beach, Director, OSH Global, said:
"We are delighted that the British Safety Council has selected Safety & Health Expo as the only National UK event to host its British Safety Council Global Risk Management Theatre, which helps enforce our mission to positively influence the world of health and safety. Having all the major industry bodies behind the event demonstrates the growth and opportunity available at the 2015 show."
