Capital Banking Solutions with its CapitalBanker (Ex-Orion) solution has won the bid with the Caisse de Dépôts et de Développement (CDD) of Mauritania for the provision of an accounting and financial software against several international software publishers including DELTA-SOPRA and SAB.


The CDD, established in March 2011 by the Mauritanian Government, launched in September 2010 this international tender in order to carry out the following tasks:

  • For the deposit fund and consignments
    • Collect all public funds; manage the clients' deposits; manage cash surpluses of the National Fund for Health Insurance and savings banks; receive the consignments and the administrative and judicial guarantees; conduct banking operations; borrow on markets
  • For the developments fund  
    • Grant credits especially micro credit, participate in projects vital to the economic development of the country; finance social policies (employment, health, housing, promotion of small and medium enterprises)
