Call for Entries - HR Distinction Awards

The HR Distinction Awards are now open for entries. In its 6^th year, the Awards will again celebrate the outstanding contribution that innovatively designed and superbly executed HR strategies make to business performance and the bottom line.

New for 2016, reflecting industry trends, are categories that will award teams, and organisations, for digital or social media programme excellence, and outstanding approaches aimed at ensuring occupational health and wellbeing.

The criteria for each category reflect the role and requirements of the next generation HR Strategies.

The 12 Award categories are:

• Distinction in Talent Management
• Distinction in Employee Engagement
• Distinction in Change Management
• Distinction in People Development
• Distinction in Innovative Use of Technology
• Distinction in Occupational Health and Wellbeing                    NEW
• Distinction in Business-Led Youth Training Schemes
• Distinction in Innovative use of Digital or Social Media            NEW
• HR Rising Star of the Year
• HR Team of the Year
• HR Director of the Year
• People-Focused CEO of the Year

All entrants are asked to make a voluntary donation to the Prince's Trust (https://www.justgiving.com/HRAwards16) - the Awards' chosen charity for 2016 - to support their work in nurturing the gifts and talents of underprivileged young people.

Entries close on Friday, 2nd of October with the shortlist announced at a Shortlist Party on Tuesday, 10^th of November. The Awards Ceremony is co-located with the 14^th HR Directors Business Summit at the ICC in Birmingham and it will be held on 3^rd of February 2016.
