CCCLA Teams Up with Reed Huabo to Launch New Homeware Expo in Shanghai
SHANGHAI, August 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --
One of the most highly regarded trade organizations in China's homeware industry, the Chamber of Commerce for the Import and Export of Light Industrial Products, Arts & Crafts (CCCLA), has announced an agreement with Reed Huabo Exhibitions, a subsidiary of Reed Exhibitions Greater China. The two organizations will work together to provide an excellent platform on which manufacturers can capture the growing market for China's homeware industry. Through the partnership, Reed has established a vital link with a key organizer of one of China's most highly rated commercial events: the Canton Fair.
The new homeware show, LUXE HOME, will see the CCCLA combine its professional expertise and powerful governmental connections with the extensive resources used by Reed Huabo to host some of the largest gift and homeware fairs in China.
Since its establishment twenty-three years ago, the CCCLA has become the trusted partner for local importers and exporters. The organization's far-reaching influence and stimulative effect can be seen across many of China's burgeoning industries. As the key organizer of the Canton Fair, the CCCLA's inclusion is a major draw for nearly half of the fair's suppliers.
For Reed, the opportunity to collaborate with such an esteemed association was unmissable. "We are pleased to have established this close cooperation with the CCCLA", said Preecha S. Chen, President of Reed Exhibitions Greater China. "Partnering with such an influential body enables us to better serve our customers. As they already do in developed markets, China's consumers are beginning to demand a higher level of quality. LUXE HOME will be a robust platform via which these growing demands can be met.
"We plan to add our own extensive experience of producing successful gift and homeware shows to the CCCLA's unparalleled knowledge of China's homeware industry. In this way, we hope LUXE HOME can immediately establish itself as a trade-defining event that attracts high caliber buyers and exhibitors to serve the China market," added Mr. Chen.
LUXE HOME, to be held in Shanghai, will feature a diverse array of high-end homeware products from across China. Most of the participating manufacturers will also have design capabilities. This distinct element will give buyers from around the country a unique advantage in terms of competitive pricing and customizable orders. Over an estimated exhibition area of 20,000 sqm, 20,000 agents, wholesalers and trade buyers from nearly two dozen countries and regions will evaluate lighting furniture, home decor items, bathroom accessories, kitchenware, tableware and home textiles showcased by 300 exhibitors from 15 countries.
With the formation of this strategic agreement, the two parties are set to further enhance their reputations for producing events that drive local business and boost cross-border trade. The optimism in the long-term benefits and mutual gains of the cooperation looks well placed.
Internationally, Reed Exhibitions is renowned for being one of the most dynamic organizers of major global home and gift events like Maison & Objet in Paris, Reed Gift Fairs in Australia and Giftex in Japan. In China, Reed Exhibitions leads the market by organizing seven major home and gift shows across China. LUXE HOME is scheduled to take place in June 2012 at Shanghai's World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre.
