LAS VEGAS, September 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
New Application is Latest Addition to Family of Self-Service Apps that Enable Mobile Operators and Retailers to Extend Content Transfer Beyond the Point of Sale
Today at Super Mobility Week powered by CTIA, Cellebrite, the leading provider of retail mobile data solutions announced a new, on-device app that gives mobile consumers a powerful self-service tool to move contacts, pictures, and other content from an old phone to a newly purchased handset anytime and anywhere. Branded for the mobile retailer, Cellebrite's Phone-to-Phone (P2P) Transfer App can be employed without the use of hardware, instead using the phones' WiFi capabilities to establish a secure, phone-to-phone connection between the source and target devices. The application allows mobile operators and retailers to extend high-value new phone support to their online customers while gaining greater flexibility in managing service delivery in the store.

"Today's mobile operators and retailers have diverse customer bases with varying technological aptitudes and preferences for how and where they buy and eventually seek support. The only constant is the expectation that their needs will be met," said Amir Lehr, VP of Cellular Products and Business Development at Cellebrite.
Mobile operators and retailers will benefit from the following key features:
Cellebrite's P2P Transfer Application complements the company's existing Self-Care Diagnostics App - putting a powerful combination of sales and service capabilities at the smartphone owner's fingertips. While the transfer app addresses customers' needs at the point of purchase or upgrade, Self-Care covers the most important post-sale service need: detecting and correcting phone problems quickly and accurately to avoid loss of use and expensive repair bookings.
"It's critical that mobile retailers adapt their service model to meet the evolving needs of their customers - that includes online shoppers who may never step into a store," said Lehr. "The combination of Cellebrite's in-store, call center, and on-device solutions give retailers the tools they need to drive high customer satisfaction with consistent, convenient and effective experiences across every channel."
