Channeliser, free to join and vendor neutral, enables IT vendors, VARs, IT services firms and distributors to intelligently locate the most suitable partners, connect and communicate with each other, market themselves more professionally, expand into new markets and sectors, and diversify their product portfolios rapidly and with greater efficiency.
The British business was founded by Jacqui Rand and Anne Lambton, two technology entrepreneurs, who have held many channel roles, including at Microsoft UK. Channeliser is global and growing fast, with already over 1700 members across 65 countries.
Jacqui Rand, Co-Founder & Director, Channeliser, said: "IT firms waste a huge amount of time searching for and building partnerships and we know that significant improvements are possible. Channeliser, quite simply, solves this problem."
According to Forrester, there is a partnering ecosystem of more than half a million companies worldwide looking to do business, forge relationships and identify the best channels and routes to market. Channeliser addresses this market need, whether you are a Vendor, VAR, Distributor or IT Services firm.
Gary Preston, Founder, Burrium Data, a UK-based VAR said: "Channeliser will enable us to more easily expand our security solution portfolio, and we also value access to relevant industry knowledge, through the new social and community functionality that isn't cluttered by irrelevant content."
Channeliser also helps IT vendors to more cost effectively scale their businesses by intelligently locating the right potential channel partners in domestic and overseas markets within the required sector and with the right product expertise. Whilst all scenarios are unique, Channeliser estimates an average time saving of approx. 30% for a vendor to locate, identify and engage with the right channel partners.
Andrew Mennie, from UK software firm, PrecisionPoint , says, "The complexity of today's technologies means that the partner relationships that you once had, now need to be more sophisticated and you need more of them. Beyond the cost savings gained from finding and engaging with potential partners on Channeliser, we are also building and managing our own Group on Channeliser - it's like our own little partner portal or community, but the companies are on Channeliser already and benefitting from the community."
In addition to the initial free membership, there is a tiered premium membership scheme that provides richer access to premium services, features and content. Depending on the package, prices vary per month but include: 1) Free Basic Membership and searching with one saved search 2) Advanced Search Membership at £10 p/m 3) Specialist Group & Poll membership at £20 p/m 4) Classified (including events) at £10 p/m and 5) Premier Membership & Featured Company at £30 p/m.
