China Sunergy to Announce 2012 Fourth Quarter and Full Year Financial Results on Friday, April 12, 2013
NANJING, China, March 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- China Sunergy Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: CSUN) ("China Sunergy" or the "Company"), a specialized solar cell and module manufacturer, today announced that it would report its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2012 on Friday, April 12, 2013, before the market opens in the United States.
China Sunergy's solar product shipments in the fourth quarter of 2012 were approximately 79MW, compared to the previous guidance of 90MW to 100MW, which was mainly due to the delay of some shipments to January 2013. The Company expects its overall gross margin in the fourth quarter of 2012 to be between negative 3% and negative 4%, compared to previous guidance of low-single-digit level, mainly as a result of recognizing a non-cash charge of inventory provision and the decreased average selling prices.
China Sunergy's management will host an earnings conference call on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time (Friday, April 12, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. Beijing/Hong Kong time). The management team will be on the call to discuss financial highlights of the fourth quarter and full year 2012, provide their business outlook for first quarter and full year 2013, and answer questions.
