LONDON, May 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Chubb today announced the appointment of Matthew Mead to the role of Environmental Risk Underwriter, as it continues to invest in building its environmental risk and liability insurance capabilities in the UK and Ireland.

Matt will be responsible for growing Chubb's regional environmental liability book, working predominantly with brokers outside London to develop environmental liability programmes. Matt will be based in Manchester and report to Robert Latimer, Regional Environmental Risk Underwriter, UK and Ireland. His appointment is effective immediately.
Matt joins Chubb from RSA where he was an underwriter for seven years, focusing on e-trading and delegated authority business.
