Confidence in Energy Market Sees Big Players Invest in Ecobuild 2015
LONDON, August 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Baxi Commercial, CORGI Services, EnviroVent, Fernox, Honeywell Control Systems, Innasol, Viessmann, WILO (UK) and Xylem Lowara UK are the latest big players to join over 125 energy brands already signed up to Ecobuild 2015 (http://www.ecobuild.co.uk) - the premier energy event in the UK.
Taking place from 3rd to 5th March at London's ExCeL and supported by leading trade bodies NICEIC, HETAS, BPVA and MCS, Ecobuild now serves the UK's largest community of energy professionals who attend to learn about and purchase all aspects of renewable energy, energy efficiency and management.
Attracting over 18,000* heating, plumbing and renewables buyers, Ecobuild almost doubled its installer audience at the 2014 event. Senior energy professionals attended to procure the latest innovations in biogas/anaerobic digestion, biomass, CHP, geothermal, energy from waste, heat pumps, solar thermal, solar PV and wind.
Returning to Ecobuild for the eighth consecutive year is Baxi Commercial. Sean Green, Senior Product Manager at Baxi Commercial said: "With the Energy Related Product (ErP) Directive due in September 2015, there is a lot of change ahead for the commercial and residential heating and hot water industry. Baxi Commercial is championing the industry to come together to provide support and information to make the transition as easy as possible for installers, contractors, specifiers and merchants. Ecobuild provides the perfect platform for us to reach out to key stakeholders and help educate them about the changes. It is also a great place to get valuable feedback and industry insight. We are very much looking forward to Ecobuild 2015."
Spring 2015 is a critical time for installers who will be getting up to speed on the latest training and technologies to make commercial and domestic premises more energy efficient ahead of the winter.
Whilst a surge in early applications demonstrates an unprecedented hunger for renewables in the domestic market, early closure of the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund (GDHIF) has come as a blow to the industry. Combine this with soaring energy prices and falling Feed-In Tariffs, installers and the energy community will flock to Ecobuild to seek guidance and practical advice on policy and legislation and how to leverage live government incentives such as the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
Alison Jackson, Group Director of Sustainability & Construction, Ecobuild said: "Ecobuild is the marketplace for energy where companies large and small forge new commercial partnerships, business ventures and nurture existing client relationships. With double the number of installers and energy professionals attending in 2014 on the previous year, Ecobuild 2015 is the platform to grow your business!"
"Over the past ten years Ecobuild has cemented its position as the sustainable design and construction marketplace for new build, refurb, commercial and domestic buildings. Evolving to meet industry demand from the energy market will now see Ecobuild 2015 split into two main show zones; Sustainable Design & Construction and Energy," said Jackson. "This will make the show easier to navigate for visitors and enable exhibitors to focus on senior buyers coming specifically to this area of the event", she added.
