CPA Global Appoints New Head of Operations to Drive Further Improvements in Legal Services Outsourcing
- Underlines Strong Commitment to Client Service
- Company Poised for Strong Business Growth
ST HELIER, Jersey, April 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading legal services outsourcing (LSO) provider CPA Global has announced the appointment of Carol Unwin as head of operations for the company's growing outsourcing businesses, which provide many of the world's best known corporations and law firms with a range of critically important legal and IP management services.
Ms Unwin brings more than 20 years' experience in senior-level outsourcing industry roles to CPA Global, where she will be responsible for further enhancing service delivery, quality and operational efficiencies across the outsourcing businesses. She was previously Group BPO Development Director at Steria, one of Europe's top IT outsourcing businesses, where she had overall responsibility for the evolution of Steria's BPO business in Europe.
Ms Unwin's appointment follows the recent appointment of David Harrel, former Senior Partner of leading international law firm SJ Berwin, as Chairman of CPA Global.
Peter Sewell, CPA Global's Chief Executive Officer, said: "The appointments of David Harrel and Carol Unwin demonstrate our ongoing commitment to bringing in top industry talent to help us drive the business and take advantage of the new opportunities being created by the transformational change in the legal services market. Carol has a wealth of outsourcing industry experience, which will be invaluable as we continue to grow our IP and Legal Services Outsourcing businesses. She adds further depth to our management team, and brings a strong and proven focus on quality and service delivery."
CPA Global's LSO business is working with an increasing number of blue chip clients across a diverse range of industry sectors and is on track to increase revenues for its financial year ending 31 July 2011. With a number of major LSO opportunities in the pipeline with leading companies in banking, insurance and technology, CPA Global anticipates stronger revenue growth next year.
Added Peter Sewell: "Legal Services Outsourcing has tremendous growth potential, but it is still an evolving market, where both providers and clients are, to some extent, learning by doing. As in any new market, some things work well and others not so well. Therefore, it's important that providers are able to adapt their approach to focus on what works best for their clients. At CPA Global, we are continually reviewing our business structure, our operations, and our delivery model to ensure we maintain the highest standards of quality and performance at an individual, business and service level, and provide the best results for our clients."
