Evers joins the firm from Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, where he was instrumental in establishing the firm's English law practice in London.

Evers, an English-qualified solicitor, focuses his practice on advising European and U.S. companies on M&A, takeovers, and other strategic corporate transactions. He has advised on multiple multi-billion-dollar transactions and regularly counsels clients on corporate governance matters and corporate and securities law and regulation. Evers has particular know-how setting up operational joint ventures with companies in the transportation and energy industries. His clients have included Verisk Analytics, Technip, Maersk, TeliaSonera, and Morgan Stanley.

Evers received his law degree from Nottingham Law School and his B.A. from the University of Oxford. He is admitted to practice in England and Wales. He worked as an associate at Slaughter and May, starting in 2005, before joining Davis Polk & Wardwell in 2012.
