Cryo-Save "Board of Parents" Grand Premiere
ZUTPHEN, The Netherlands, March 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
The Board of Parents Program Hosts its Delegates at the Flagship Laboratory in Niel, Belgium
Cryo-Save is excited to deploy its program's master piece to the participating parents and journalists attending the Board of Parents' event on March 24th in Niel, Belgium. Volunteer parents have been recruited in eight European countries to take part in this program. The aim is to give the opportunity to Cryo-Save's customers, to approach the company from a new perspective and to find out more on how a family stem cell bank works in terms of laboratory procedures and cryopreservation techniques.
For several weeks now, the participating parents, also called delegates, have been actively preparing their venue. They are collecting questions to ask Cryo-Save's top management, posting on Facebook topics to discuss with other customers and participating to some local events to raise awareness about the benefits of stem cell storage among the public.
Miguel Fernandez from Spain said "We have enrolled the BOP because we believe that only a firm commitment to stem cell research will give our daughter Angela the opportunity to live in a future in which diseases that are not treatable today, will be completely healed."
On March 24th, the delegates along with their children will travel from Italy, Spain, Hungary, the Netherland, Bosnia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece to the Cryo-Save flagship lab in Niel, Belgium for an exciting visit of the storage facility: Sally Sennitt, Cryo-Save lab director, will take them behind the scene to explain the cryopreservation process from the sample arrival to storage.
Luca Saponaro from Italy expects from the event "to see how the lab works, understand the role of people working there and the process of a sample from its arrival to storage."
Arnoud van Tulder, CEO of Cryo-Save, explains "This is a unique chance for our customers to understand what we do and why we are passionate about it. We look forward to meet with them in person and answer all their questions. We want this to be an open-discussion."
Cryo-Save will run another round of the Board of Parents program second half of the year, in order to invite other countries and new parents to join and participate.
