Customers can now buy the CTERA enterprise file services platform from the HPE sales ecosystem
NEW YORK, March 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CTERA Networks today announced that it has joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise's HPE Complete program, giving customers the opportunity to purchase best-in-class CTERA enterprise file services as part of a complete, validated HPE technology solution. CTERA is the only private cloud file services vendor to be accepted to the HPE Complete program to date.
This joint solution enables enterprises and service providers to transform enterprise file services --including secure file sync and share, remote office storage, and cloud backup—in private or hybrid cloud configurations. The CTERA front-end file services and middleware are HPE interoperability validated to work with HPE's 3PAR flash storage, Helion, and Scality solutions running on HPE servers and to support data offload to multiple public clouds.
The combined HPE and CTERA solution helps customers deliver IT-as-a-Service (ITaaS) while pursuing a corporate cloud agenda for flexibility and cost savings without the security and privacy sacrifices of a shared Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) approach.
"As enterprises are building their new data infrastructure strategies to address the huge growth in unstructured data, they are looking for ways to modernize their corporate file services without compromising on security," said Liran Eshel, CEO of CTERA. "CTERA and HPE together deliver an end-to-end solution for a private and hybrid cloud model that passes the toughest InfoSec scrutiny."
The combination of CTERA and HPE provides a unified platform for branch storage modernization, private file sync and share, and cloud data protection utilizing web-scale, cloud, or traditional storage. With this solution, customers can provide mobile collaboration as well as replace aging file servers or tape backup with cloud-integrated file storage and data protection.
"We are very pleased to have CTERA Networks join the HPE Complete program, which broadens our customers' options for utilizing HPE solutions," said Marty Lans, senior director of storage connectivity and interoperability at HPE. "Together CTERA and HPE enable customers to capitalize on their investments in demanding, versatile cloud storage and enterprise file services that can be securely deployed within a customer's network."
Customers can now simply and confidently purchase an interoperability assurance validated HPE and CTERA system directly from HPE or HPE resellers with a single purchase order. Customers worldwide will be able to purchase combined HPE and CTERA solutions immediately. Additional information about the HPE-CTERA partnership is available at ctera.com/partners/detail/hpe/.
