This year Asprey dressed the recipient of the prestigious Fellowship Award, Dame Helen Mirren in Asprey jewels. HRH Duke of Cambridge, the president of BAFTA, presented the EE BAFTA Award for this incredible achievement to Dame Helen Mirren who wore Asprey's new diamond collection, 'Storm'.
The Storm Suite, designed by Shaun Leane for Asprey, is a stunning diamond collection that includes: Large Diamond Earrings (7.31cts) in white gold; Storm Ring (1.02cts); Storm Cuff Bracelet (8.14 cts), all worn by Dame Helen Mirren. The collection also includes a beautiful statement necklace (24.06cts).
Presenters Asprey also dressed yesterday evening included: Helen McCrory (Oakleaf Peridot earrings) and Juliet Stevenson (Yellow diamond (6.49) earrings and Diamond Line bracelet).
Nominated for supporting actress, Sally Hawkins wore pieces from Asprey's Daisy Heritage Collection (Daisy diamond earrings, Daisy aquamarine bracelet and ring).
The annual Nominees' Party was held on Saturday 15th February at Asprey's flagship store in anticipation of the following night's ceremony. Guests included directors David O Russell (American Hussle)and Paul Greengrass (Captain Philips); David Oyelowo (The Butler); Ron Howard (Rush); David Heyman (Jack Ryan); Matthew Modine, Will Poulter (EE Rising Talent); Lupita Nyong'O; Bruce Dern; Amy Adams; Steve Coogan; Barkhad Abdi; Mahat M. Ali; Daniel Bruhl.
Dame Helen Mirren, who also attended the prestigious cocktail party, wore Asprey's Daisy Heritage yellow diamond earrings and yellow sapphire and diamond ring; Olivia Coleman wore a pave diamond bangle and matching ring. Samantha Barks wore protector citrine earrings and matching ring.
Other guests included: Zoe Ball, Edith Bowman and Laura Mvula, the singer who performed at the opening of the EE BAFTA Awards Ceremony.
