Darktrace Named Technology Pioneer By World Economic Forum

CAMBRIDGE, England, Aug. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise Immune System technology, was announced today as a Technology Pioneer by The World Economic Forum. Each year, the Technology Pioneer program recognizes companies across a wide range of industries that are designing and developing new technologies across the globe that address future-orientated issues on the global agenda in a proactive, innovative, and entrepreneurial way.

Darktrace was founded in 2013 by mathematicians and machine learning specialists together with leading intelligence experts from the UK government. Notable members of the committee include Arianna Huffington (founder, Huffington Post) and Henry Blodget (editor-in-chief, Business Insider). The committee based its decisions on criteria including innovation, potential impact, working prototype, viability and leadership.

Darktrace joins notable Technology Pioneers including Google (2001), Mozilla (2007), Clearwire (2008), Ubiquisys Ltd (2009), Twitter (2010), Dropbox (2012) and Nest Labs (2014).
