Datapipe Selected by Lotaris to Deliver Secure Service Delivery Platform

Datapipe Europe, a leading provider of managed services and infrastructure for IT and cloud computing, today announced that Lotaris has selected Datapipe to provide PCI DSS Level 1 Compliant hosting for its Licensed Mobile Environment® (LME). Datapipe has worked with Lotaris to implement a very flexible and scalable, hybrid solution deploying dedicated machines, community and private cloud infrastructure.

The Lotaris LME is a technology platform that enables effective distribution and management of licensing in multiple, evolving channels. LME protects online services and securely enforces licensing terms for these services.  Lotaris LME was originally developed and then delivered into production on a public cloud platform. However, as Lotaris rapidly grew, the size, complexity and compliance needs of their clients increased. Lotaris needed to find a solution that offered commercial flexibility, agility, scalability combined with the global reach, security and compliance that their enterprise clients demanded.

Datapipe's solution design meant that Lotaris did not need a second, largely redundant DR site. Instead, by using WAN accelerators, Lotaris was able to maximize its investment in a second location by deploying infrastructure into Datapipe's Hong Kong and San Jose, California sites as active-active-nodes. This greatly enhanced the customer experience for clients in different geographies by directing traffic to the nearest or least busy available infrastructure. Future active nodes in other global locations can be added seamlessly.
