Boehmer will work out of the firm's London office, and will also continue to lead the Financial Services Practice in Europe and Africa. In his role as Global Practice Leader, he will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the practice and overseeing a team of approximately 70 consultants worldwide.

Boehmer has been integral to strengthening and growing the Financial Service Practice in the Americas and Europe. His portfolio of search and advisory work over the years spans senior front office and functional roles including board, CEO, CIO, COO and general management positions across financial technology, payments, banking, asset management, hedge fund, capital markets, insurance and alternative investment clients. Boehmer was also named a World Economic Forum, Young Global Leader in 2012. Currently, Boehmer is leading efforts and guiding the conversation on the next generation of leadership, diversity and innovation within the Young Global Leader community.
Prior to being appointed Global Practice Leader, Boehmer served as the Regional Managing Partner for the Financial Service Practice for the Americas and relocated to London to run the Europe and Africa region for Financial Services. He also led the Financial Services Infrastructure Practice for the Americas, a practice focused on the functional areas of financial services that include finance, risk, legal, compliance, technology, operations, audit, human resources and sales & marketing.
He is active with the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization and Komera, a not-for-profit focused on empowering young girls in Eastern Africa through education, entrepreneurship and mentorship. Boehmer earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Yale University.
