The 18th international forum will reconvene in London from the 22nd - 25th January
Chaired by General Sir Adrian Bradshaw, International Armoured Vehicles 2018 will promote a robust land power narrative, in an era of hybrid deterrence.
Military practitioners from around the globe will come together to discuss the varied security challenges facing us today, and how armoured vehicles fits into the balance of complex capabilities required to face these challenges. Download the full programme here.
A few key challenges include the need for NATO to refresh its continuum of deterrence with respect to neighbouring states, as well as the need for its members to continue the campaign against Islamist Extremism.
Attendees will hear from an esteemed speaker panel ranging from senior officers to technical experts, including: General Sir Nick Carter, Chief of the General Staff, British Army; General David G. Perkins, Commanding General, U.S. Army TRADOC; and General John W. Nicholson, Commander, Resolute Support mission and will have the opportunity to attend an Information Exploitation Workshop day, led by ATDU, British Army.
Discussions will draw out current thinking, and those with some of the most relevant experience will deliberate the state of development of armoured vehicles, the range of threats that nations face, and the ways you can best optimise the technology and vehicle development, to cover off against these threats.
