DeLclima units installed in the Avio Colleferro test center.
DeLclima, through its subsidiary Climaveneta, has supplied 8 units to the new Avio test center in Colleferro, Rome Italy.
Avio's expertise and know-how acquired over 100 years, currently allows the company to compete with the top players in the segment of solid, liquid and cryogenic space propulsion. Today, Avio plays a strategic role in the global space industry through Ariane 5, a programme involving the largest satellite launcher in Europe.
The HVAC plant of the new test center is composed of 2 high efficiency Integra multiuse units, used as heating and cooling source and 6 DeLclima Wizard AHU to serve the whole building. The system is controlled by DeLclima manager3000 supervisor, to get maximum efficiency.
It is not by chance that Avio, the leading company in space propulsion, has chosen DeLclima to air condition its most innovative test center in Colleferro, Rome. INTEGRA absolutely represents the state of the art technology in HVAC solutions, replacing the need for separate boiler and chiller units. INTEGRA is a heat pump with three basic operating configurations to produce only chilled water, only hot water, or a combination of hot and chilled water, that automatically selects the working load conditions to reduce energy consumption. When the unit is working to provide simultaneous heating and cooling loads, the load with the lesser demand can be provided almost for free, further reducing the energy consumed.
DeLclima's great experience in cooperating with big companies all over the world, always offering them the most efficient solution to combine comfort and sustainability, represents the best proof of its reliability and capability to always supply customised solutions.
