LONDON, October 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Derek Rose, the luxury nightwear brand (http://www.derek-rose.com) launches their new slim-fit Bari pyjamas at retail for September 2013, in a modern take on the traditional pyjama shape. Double-mercerised pure filo di scozia cotton is knitted into soft jersey to achieve the comfort and fit that is expected of Derek Rose pyjamas.
A high standard of comfort is maintained in this new Bari slim-fit shape through the use of the finest pure cotton jersey. The knit of the fabric allows for stretch, resulting in a modern shape with no compromise on comfort. The waistband of the trousers is also updated, with elastic confined to the back and sides to produce a streamlined half flat front and remove the need for a draw cord.
Italian filo di scozia pure cotton was developed in a fine stripe to give sophistication to the jersey knit. Both the yarn and the fabric are mercerised to produce a beautifully smooth and cool finish that is also non-pill.
Every detail was considered in the development of the Bari pyjamas: from the refined stitching to the ultra-lightweight interfacing in the open, flat collar. The streamlined trousers are fastened with a patent-pending, self-seeking magnetic fly and the finest mother of pearl buttons add an elegant touch to the pyjama jacket. Seams and overlocking have narrow stitching to reduce bulk and complement the lightweight jersey. Finishing touches include subtle piping on the pocket and back neck and side vents are finished with contrast tape.
