DHL Global Forwarding Appoints Teoman Beyazit as General Manager for Turkey
-- Teoman steps up from CFO as Kerem Inanc, former General Manager for Turkey, takes on regional CEO role
ISTANBUL, May 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DHL Global Forwarding, leading provider of air, sea and road freight services in Europe and Asia, has appointed Teoman Beyazit as its new General Manager for Turkey with effect from 1 April 2015. Formerly CFO and Deputy Managing Director for DHL Global Forwarding Turkey, Teoman will report to Claudio Scandella, CEO, DHL Global Forwarding, Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. Teoman replaces Kerem Inanc, former General Manager, who was appointed CEO DHL Global Forwarding Eastern Europe as of 1 April, managing a cluster of 12 countries in the region including Russia, Austria and Poland.

A former auditing professional and CPA, Teoman joined the Deutsche Post DHL group in 2004 as Country Controller, contributing significantly to the development of DHL Global Forwarding Turkey as a newly-founded corporate entity. He spent the last six years as CFO and Deputy Managing Director, working with former General Manager Kerem Inanc to drive several major change initiatives within the business.
