Dongfeng Motor Attends Salon International de l'Automobile d'Alger Again
ALGIERS, Algeria, March 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DongFeng Motor (DFM), one of China's largest auto groups, is attending the annual Salon International de l'automobile d'Alger 2015 at SAFEX, Algiers, following up on its first appearance in 2014. This time DFM is taking up nearly 1,000 sqm in hall U, bringing a strong lineup of passenger vehicle models such as Dongfeng, Joyear, Fengdu, Fengxing and Xiaokang.
At today's opening ceremony, DFM launched two new strategic models: the A30 car and AX7 SUV. Mr. Su Weibin, DFM Vice General Manager, Overseas Business Unit, presented general information about the company, as well as DFM's overseas development strategy. Mr. Medour Nouredine, general manager of Burgan Group, DFM's local partner, spoke on DFM's bright market prospects in Algeria. Nearly 100 guests, including Mr. Malek Serrai, one of the expert consultants of President Bouteflika, and officials from the Chinese embassy and Algeria's Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Industry, representatives from industrial associations, auto dealers and media also attended the grand ceremony.
