EDM, a leading global provider of training simulators to the civil aviation and defence sectors, announced today it has appointed Sarah Ferguson as its Finance Director with effect from 1st July 2016.
Sarah joined EDM last year as Head of Finance from automotive seating upholstery manufacturer, Proseat where she was Financial Controller from 2011. During her 22 year career, Sarah has also held senior finance roles with leading manufacturing companies including James Dewhurst, Akcros Chemicals and Great Lakes Chemical Corporation.
After gaining an MA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Central Lancashire in 1997, Sarah went on to become CIMA qualified in 1999. Sarah succeeds previous Finance Director, Geoff Moss, who left EDM in 2015 after 17 years with the company. Sarah's new role will see her join EDM's Board of Directors and take overall responsibility for all financial aspects of company strategy.
