As part of its workshop agenda, Elitecore is organizing a forum on Monetizing Data: Challenges, Strategies & Solutions through PCRF, panel discussion on creating differentiated customer experience and a case study  presentation on the benefits of Wi-Fi offload.

According to a new study from Nielsen conducted across six countries - Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines, smartphones are becoming the primary access point to Internet in Southeast Asia. For instance in Thailand, out of 21 million Internet users, 17.6 million connect to Web-based services via their mobile phones. Mobile social media services are a growing buzz, with more than 12 million users having signed up in the previous year.
