Elsevier Announces its Collaboration with Kasetsart University, Thailand

Access to SciVal Spotlight provides university with insights into its core research areas and intelligence to help institution determine its research strategies
Elsevier, a world-leading provider of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, today announced its collaboration with Kasetsart University in Thailand by providing access to Elsevier's strategic planning solution SciVal Spotlight beginning June 2013.
SciVal Spotlight, part of Elsevier's SciVal suite of research management tools, provides institutions and countries with an interdisciplinary view of their unique research strengths, helping them to define and execute their research strategies and explore opportunities for collaboration with peer institutions. SciVal Spotlight uses Scopus, the world's largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, as its underlying data source.
Kasetsart University is the first university in Thailand to use SciVal Spotlight. The university selected the tool to map its research performance and international collaboration trends more effectively. With access to SciVal Spotlight Kasetsart University will be able to analyze its core areas of research as well as current and potential collaboration partners.
