Elsevier Announces its Collaboration with Turkish Academic Network and Information Center

177 universities in Turkey benefit from access to Scopus and ScienceDirect for the next 3 years

Elsevier, a world-leading provider of scientific, technical, and medical information products and services, today announced its agreement with the Turkish Academic Network and Information Center (ULAKBIM) to provide 177 academic and research institutions in Turkey with access to Scopus, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature. In addition, access to ScienceDirect, Elsevier's full-text platform for research literature has been extended.

The 3-year agreement ensures Turkish researchers can benefit from access to high quality, world-class scholarly information resources and tools, allowing them to stay abreast of scientific developments in their fields. The previous ScienceDirect agreement with ULAKBIM provided access to 104 institutions, whereas the new agreement welcomes an additional 73 new members.
