Elsevier Enhances Pure, Providing New Research Analysis Functionalities Through Direct Integration With SciVal

Release of Pure 5.1 makes Elsevier Research Intelligence Tools Pure and SciVal Interoperable
Elsevier, a world-leading provider of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, today announced the release of Pure 5.1, an enhanced version of its leading research information management system, and part of the Elsevier Research Intelligence portfolio of integrated tools and services.
The release of Pure 5.1 improves its benchmark and research impact analysis functionalities through deep integration with SciVal. Pure customers with access to SciVal are now able to benefit from the benchmark capabilities of SciVal from within the Pure research management platform. These functionalities include the ability to easily select any group of Pure articles and seamlessly analyze them in SciVal. Users will benefit from SciVal's powerful analytics engine, allowing for more comprehensive comparison of research against peers, entire subject areas and institutions. In addition, a range of SciVal research impact metrics will also be visible for Scopus articles included in Pure.
