Elsevier Launches Clinical Solutions Leadership Webinar Series
PHILADELPHIA, June 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
Elsevier clinical thought leaders to delve into healthcare's hot topics, including collaborative care, population health and improving patient outcomes
Top clinical thought leaders from Elsevier, a world-leading provider of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, will discuss hot topics in the healthcare industry in a leadership-oriented series of free webinars starting this week. Elsevier Clinical Solutions' ClinicalKey is presenting these webinars with Health IT Outcomes.
Michelle Troseth, MSN, RN, DPNAP, FAAN, Chief Professional Practice Officer for Elsevier Clinical Solutions, will present on Thursday, June 25, on The Role of Practice Interoperability to Achieve an Integrated Health System.
"Health systems have not historically put equally significant emphasis on practice interoperability as they have on the interoperability of their technology," Troseth said. "With new shifts to value-based care, assuring that there's a purposeful emphasis on the practice side of the interoperability equation is becoming more and more important. Practice interoperability will assure that clinical practice is streamlined for consistency in care, smooth transitions of care, and meaningful 'big data' for population health management."
Troseth's webinar, moderated by Health IT Outcomes' Editor John Oncea, will start at 2 pm ET, on Thursday, June 25. Register here.
Future webinars in this series will cover such topics as consistency of care, population health, and opportunities for improved patient outcomes. In addition to Troseth, these webinars will feature Dr. Peter Edelstein, Chief Medical Officer for Elsevier Clinical Solutions.
