LONDON, September 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --
Elsevier, the information analytics business specializing in science and health, today announced the British Medical Association (BMA) honored 30 of its professional and scholarly products with awards at the BMA Medical Book Awards ceremony.
During the event on Sept. 11 at London's BMA House, the BMA Illustrated Book Award was presented to Elsevier's Auerbach's Wilderness Medicine, 2 Volume Set, 7th Edition, by Drs. Paul S. Auerbach, Tracy A. Cushing and N. Stuart Harris. The judges' review noted how the publication's "logical and well thought-out diagrams and illustrations supplement the detailed information in a very impressive manner."

"The contributors to the 7th edition of Wilderness Medicine are remarkable people with a real passion for the wilderness and its inhabitants, and this award is shared by all of them," he added.
