A new educational online Resource Centre focused on gastrointestinal cancer gives healthcare professionals free access to the latest peer-reviewed research, cutting-edge data and case studies to help them treat patients more effectively.
Elsevier's Advances in Gastrointestinal Cancer Resource Centre, which is hosted by the European Journal of Cancer and Clinical Colorectal Cancer, acts as an information hub to keep physicians and other healthcare practitioners up-to-date on the latest studies and guidelines.
Gastrointestinal (GI) cancer is the most common form of cancer. It includes the cancers that affect the esophagus, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, stomach, small intestine, bowel and anus. There are various approaches to treating the different cancers, and the new Resource Centre aims to give healthcare professionals the tools they need to care for their patients.
Launched during ECCO/ESMO 2015 conference in Vienna, the Advances in Gastrointestinal Cancer Resource Centre focuses on gastric cancer and will expand its scope over time to include all GI cancers.
