Europe's HR Directors Reveal How They Have Transformed Their HR Function
LONDON, July 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Accelerating their global HR transformation and pushing the strategic agenda of HR management are two of the greatest challenges currently being faced by senior HR executives.
As Andrew Winnemore, Senior Director of Global Human Resources Services at Nokia, stated in a recent interview with SSON, there are three next steps in HR services delivery:
- Transformation: "we are still going through the process of streamlining our policies…how you manage compliance and mismanagement then starts to become higher and higher up the agenda."
- Technology: "We have seen a lot of consolidation on the technology in the last couple of years...[but] there's still more consolidation needed in the systems."
- Insight: "consolidating corporate functions [into the] Global Business Services model where we have tighter integration - it's not just about being an effective organisation it really is about true end-to-end type of processes and facilities that will really enable the company then to go forward."
