Ex-Yahoo Finance Manager Rob Gorle Joins UK Employee Engagement Startup Perkbox as Finance Director

Perkbox (www.perkbox.co.uk), the UK's fastest growing employee and customer engagement firm, today announced the appointment of ex-Yahoo! Finance Manager Rob Gorle as Finance Director, with immediate effect.

The appointment forms part of Perkbox's extensive plans to expand in the UK and internationally. Since its foundation in 2015, the company has more than quintupled its headcount - growing from 20 to 130 in just 20 months. Last year, the brand raised a £4.3m equity crowdfunding round on Seedrs, backed by VC Draper Esprit, which also saw high profile investors including tennis world champion Andy Murray invest.

As Finance Director, Gorle will be responsible for leading the finance team, supporting the management team and overseeing all financial operations including refinements around compliance and governance processes.

Prior to his role at Perkbox, Gorle held a variety of senior finance-related roles at Yahoo! and accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers. He brings to the company extensive operational and transactional experience in managing growing companies, having acted as Finance Director and CFO of London-based startups Plumbee and previously Zattikka, which he led to a listing on the AIM exchange.
