ONE57, poised to become New York City's next landmark, will feature 95 ultra-luxury condominium residences above a five-star Park Hyatt hotel. Envisioned by a team of world-class talent, this architectural masterpiece will provide residents with breathtaking, unobstructed views of Central Park to the North, the famed Manhattan skyline to the South, and both Hudson and East Rivers. The condominiums will begin on floor 39 and culminates on floor 90.
Christian de Portzamparc, whose credits include The City of Music in Paris and Herge Museum in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, designed the building's striking modern glass exterior which creates an illusion of movement, like fluid glass ribbons. The curtain wall flows like a cascading waterfall to form the building's entry canopies.
The interiors for the Park Hyatt-branded condominiums have been meticulously designed by New York-based Thomas Juul-Hansen. Juul-Hansen took inspiration from de Portzamparc's exterior, creating discreetly opulent interiors with a nod to French modernists such as Jean Michel Frank. The expansive residences feature wide dimensions and soaring ceiling heights, along with numerous custom details and materials of the highest quality. ONE57 will offer The "Extell Choice" a unique value proposition allowing buyers to choose from a fine selection of finishes, design and layout packages to tailor homes to individual tastes. Purchasers may choose from a selection of hand-crafted kitchen cabinetry from Smallbone of Devizes, rich rosewood flooring in a French herringbone pattern or select rift sawn white oak, slabs of Italian marble and custom hardware and light fixtures.
Residential amenities include a 24-hour doorman and concierge, screening and performance space, on-site parking, triple-height indoor swimming pool and custom Jacuzzi, library, catering kitchen, function room, arts and crafts atelier room, private fitness center, yoga studio and pet wash room.
The Park Hyatt New York hotel will be a new flagship for the Park Hyatt brand, offering 210 guestrooms and Park Hyatt's uniquely personalized service. ONE57 residents will have full access to Park Hyatt's exclusive amenities and hotel services including 24-hour concierge, catering and room service, housekeeping service, dry cleaning and laundry service, ballroom access and deluxe spa services. The interiors for the Park Hyatt New York will be designed by award-winning interior design team Yabu Pushelberg.
"We have assembled the most talented architectural and design team in the world to create ONE57," said Gary Barnett, President of Extell Development Company. "Extell is committed to delivering homes of the highest quality. I am confident that this building will be the finest development in New York City and a great addition to its famous skyline."
The ONE57 Sales Gallery located at the historic Fuller Building at 41 East 57th Street and Madison Avenue has been designed to emulate the exquisite space and quality materials available within the 90-story mixed-use hotel and condominium tower. Residences are priced from $6.375 million. Occupancy is slated for 2013. For more information, visit http://www.one57.com.
