EY announces new Global Digital Leader for Advisory Services
LONDON, May 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- EY announces Richard Suhr as Global Digital Leader of EY's Advisory Services. Suhr built and led Google's Enterprise and Maps business in Japan and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region for almost a decade.
In the newly created global position, Suhr will be responsible for leading the integration of digital strategy across all service lines, industries and regions to accelerate growth and strengthen EY's position as a leader in digital consulting. He will work closely with EY's team of regional digital leaders in the Americas; APAC; and Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA); and with EY's global Financial Services team.
Suhr joined EY last year as its Asia-Pacific Digital Leader. Prior to this and his role at Google, Suhr held several positions at Accenture, where he worked for nine years; co-founded a technology investment company; and advised a number of technology start-ups. He is an experienced technology leader with expertise in creating high-growth digital businesses; and has proven skills in strategy and planning, large-scale transformation design and sales and marketing.
