Federated Investors, Inc. Announces Name Change of London-based Subsidiary to Federated Investors (UK) LLP

LONDON, Sept. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Federated Investors, Inc. (NYSE: FII), one of the largest investment managers in the United States, announced that effective Sept. 23, 2013, Federated's London-based subsidiary has changed its name to Federated Investors (UK) LLP from Federated Prime Rate Capital Management LLP.
Federated Investors (UK) LLP, a specialist provider of AAA-rated money-market funds in the UK, provides investors with liquid, diversified and highly rated portfolios through its management of the Federated Short-Term Sterling Prime Fund and the Federated Short-Term Euro Prime Fund, which are Qualifying Money Market Funds (QMMFs), as well as the Federated Sterling Cash Plus Fund, which qualifies as a European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) money market fund.
