MUMBAI, India, Sept. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The fifth annual China Sourcing Fairs opened today at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, India and runs through September 22, 2012. The Fairs aim to further strengthen trade relationships between China and India.

The co-located events are Electronics & Components, Hardware & Building Materials and Bathroom Products. Combined, the Fairs feature over 400 booths from mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea exhibitors. In India, the China Sourcing Fairs are managed by Pico Event Management under license from Global Sources (NASDAQ: GSOL).

China suppliers see India's huge population as an important new market
India's population of 1.21 billion makes it the second most populated country in the world, of which 400 million are middle-class consumers with strong purchasing power.
