Flywheel Sports & Soho House Announce A Global Brand Partnership
- The Unparalleled Indoor Cycling Concept to Open at Shoreditch House This Fall
NEW YORK, July 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Flywheel Sports and Soho House today announce a global brand partnership that will bring the Flywheel indoor cycling experience to Soho House members through a new dedicated studio inside London's Shoreditch House, and through private classes and special packages in other cities where both brands exist. With 24 locations in the U.S. and abroad, and seven additional studios opening this fall, Flywheel has attracted Soho House members since its inception in 2010. In September, Soho House members will have the first Flywheel studio exclusively for their use at Shoreditch House.
"I first came across the Flywheel phenomenon in LA and thought it was fantastic," said Nick Jones, CEO and founder of Soho House. "Shoreditch House members are always ahead of the curve and looking for new experiences, so when we started planning our refurbished gym, adding a pioneering indoor cycling facility made perfect sense."
With studios in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Dallas, Dubai and more, Flywheel offers an unparalleled indoor cycling experience that challenges the body and relaxes the mind. The Flywheel ride lasts 45 or 60 minutes and includes sprints, climbs and a challenging upper body workout using weighted bars. Each workout is a unique journey, enhanced by Flywheel's proprietary on-bike technology that allows for performance tracking and friendly in-studio competition among riders.
"Both Flywheel and Soho House have always shown a commitment to offering members unparalleled experiences," said Jay Galluzzo, CEO and Co-Founder, Flywheel Sports. "This partnership is a natural fit. We are excited to introduce Flywheel to Soho House members who have not yet experienced what we offer and thrilled that Flywheel veterans will have new ways to engage with our brand."
Flywheel at Shoreditch House will feature a state-of-the-art indoor cycling studio as well as Yoga at Flywheel, a dynamic yoga program introduced in Los Angeles earlier this year. Located on the newly renovated fourth floor, the Flywheel studio will be adjacent to a new sauna and steam room, refurbished changing rooms, a new fitness space offering Pilates and personal training, a barber for men and a blow dry bar for women.
In addition to the members-only studio at Shoreditch House, Flywheel will offer private rides and FlyBarre body sculpting classes to Soho House members in various markets including New York, Miami and Los Angeles.
