FMC China 2014 Blooms as it Celebrates its 20th Anniversary
SHANGHAI, Jan. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- From 1993-2014, the China International Furniture Manufacturing and Raw Materials Exhibition (FMC China) has always provided the best display of woodworking machinery and raw materials for furniture production, decoration and engineering.

'Furniture Manufacturing & Supply China 2014 (FMC China 2014)' will be staged at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center (SWEECC) from September 10-13, 2014 concurrently with 'FMC Premium 2014'. The show will cover three indoor halls, H1, H2, and H3, with a total surface area of 59,000 sqm, and it is expected to attract 850 exhibitors.
FMC China 2014 will be held concurrently with Furniture China 2014, one of the biggest furniture shows in the world. The visitor's badge is valid for both shows and a shuttle bus will be specially arranged for visitors' convenience. The 20th Anniversary of FMC China will be a new leap.
FMC has been successfully held for 19 years. FMC China 2013 attracted 790 exhibitors and 33,834 trade buyers from 120 countries and regions. Seven groups and associations shared their new technologies and products onsite. These were the State of North Carolina Pavilion, American Hardwood Export Council, Swedish Trade & Investment Council, French Timber Industry Association, Taiwan Woodworking Machinery Association (TWMA), Yuhang Home Textile Pavilion, and Asian International Furniture Material Trading Center (AIFM). On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, FMC will gather more high quality exhibitors and visitors to participate this new feature of woodworking and furniture raw material show.
20 Years: New Start, New Highlights
Highlight I: Launch of special exhibit areas
FMC China 2014 will raise the new concept of a special area of exhibits, including a perfect special area for trade visitors covering the following categories: Woodworking Machinery, CNC Machinery, Upholstered Furniture Machinery, Coating Machinery, Furniture Adhesives and Coating Machinery, Office Furniture Accessories and Components, Furniture Hardware and Fittings, Wood and Surface Decor, Furniture Fabric and Upholstery Components.
Highlight II: Expanding the field of visitors
FMC China 2014 expands the fields of decoration and engineering and will strictly select high quality exhibitors, as well as inviting relevant participants from home and abroad. FMC will provide services of technical communication, industrial cooperation, product purchasing and publishing industry needs, in order to attract the best, most comprehensive and professional trade buyers.
Highlight III: Extending related products and enlarging the exhibits' ranges
FMC China 2014 will extend to include industry-related products for the first time. The woodworking machinery area will include Surface Processing Machinery, Floor Machinery and Door Manufacturing Machinery, while the material area will include Glass Furniture Machinery, Injection Molding Machinery and Benders. The new related products will provide a view of the best woodworking machinery and raw materials for furniture production, decoration and engineering.
Highlight IV: Upgraded facilities and more reasonable booth layouts
FMC Premium 2014 focuses on worldwide leading enterprises at home and abroad and covers companies in over 100 countries. In addition, Hall 3 was arranged with an "X"-type booth layout. This booth layout seems much clearer for visitors and will bring more business opportunities to the exhibitors.
Highlight V: Upholstery furniture is moved into SWEECC
The upholstery furniture exhibitors will be moved into Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center (SWEECC) from Furniture China 2014, which is one of the world's largest Furniture shows. They will jointly build a complete industrial chain with FMC China 2014. The exhibition will provide a one-stop show service that ranges from raw materials to processing, drying, sawing, sanding, painting and furniture products, while focusing on upstream and downstream Industry chains.
