GAIN Capital Hires Industry Veteran Muhammad Rasoul as Chief Product Officer
- Former chief operating officer of GFT Markets to lead GAIN's global product strategy & development

(NYSE: GCAP), a leading global provider of online trading services, announced today the appointment of Muhammad Rasoul as Chief Product Officer and member of GAIN's executive management team. Mr. Rasoul has more than 16 years of leadership experience in the retail brokerage industry, with a strong background in forex, futures and OTC derivatives trading.
In the newly created role, Mr. Rasoul will lead the vision, development and execution of GAIN's product strategy across both its retail and institutional business lines.

Previously, Muhammad was executive vice president, chief operating officer at GFT Markets, a global provider of forex, contracts for difference (CFDs), binary trading, and FX options trading. During his 16-year tenure at GFT, he managed the company's global operations, responsible for trading, operations, risk, compliance and IT. He also led the development of GFT's trading platforms and tools as well as expansion of their product offering to include FX, contracts for difference (CFDs), binaries and options.
